How to create a Manager Role on the backend portal

This guide will help show you step by step on how to create Manager Role on the backend portal

1. Log in to the NOQ backend portal.

2. From the sidebar, go to User Management > Managers. Before creating a manager, you must first create a role for them. To create a new role, click on the Role tab.

3. Click on + Create Manager Role.

4. Enter a name for the role. You will then see the Permissions section, where you can set access for both the Portal and the Insights app. Under Portal Permissions, you’ll see multiple tabs such as Business Profile, Taxes, and others. Each tab contains specific services you can control access to.

For each service, you can choose:

  • View – the manager can see the information but cannot make any changes.
  • Edit – the manager can view and also update that information.

Go through each tab and select the appropriate permission level you want to assign.

After assigning the services for the Portal, click on the Insights app. By default, access to the Insights app is disabled, so click on it to enable it. Only then can you select the other checkboxes. Tick the boxes for the data you want the manager to be able to view. Once you’ve made your selections, click on Create Manager Role.
